About127 first  class graduates were honoured on  Friday 12th of December 2014 as  OAU graduates 9,094 at its 40th  convocation ceremony.  In addition of a further opportunity to be recruited by the University, the first class graduates have all  been offered scholarships for further studies and degrees.  The graduation statistics is thus:  127 students earned  first class degrees, 2,360  students earned 2nd  class upper degrees and 4,256 student are to be honoured with 2nd class lower division.  An additional 1,233 graduates will be awarded 3rd class degrees while 123 will  get ordinary pass degrees.  2,755 Masters’ degrees will be awarded at the ceremony, 150 Doctors of  Philosophy degrees, 73 Masters of Philosophy degrees and 394  postgraduate diplomas will be awarded at the convocation ceremony.
Now consider OAU chunking out about 9,000 graduates into the already tight and competitive labour marked, not mentioning the number all other universities are convocating, what will the labour market be like?
