"2nd of september 2013 was the happiest day of my life. Finally I have gained admission to study in Uniben."
These were the words of a jambite who was admitted into the University of Benin in the 2013/2014 academic session. It all began with the jamb registration preceded and followed with hideous studies.
" if you are to study in Uniben  you have to be a scholar" we were told," no connection no admission Uniben is a no go area" some said. "What! you applied for Uniben,?". Were some of the frightening words we heard from those who have tried crossing the river but got drowned.
Its a three step process in gaining admission into any university; A not less than 5 credits pass in relevant subjects in any O'LEVEL  exam,a compulsory 180( but 200 for Uniben) and above score in Jamb, and a 50 and above PUTME  aggregate score.
Did you take the Uniben 2014 PUTME? was your aggregate score above 50?
Getting 50 and above makes your eligible for admission into the school but to get your desired course,a score more than 50 is required. It is important to emphasize that every course has its specific cut off mark and getting it or above means you have got the admission. These specific cut off marks earlier mentioned are not so
known to the public but speculations based on previous years are made as to the cut off marks.
The Secrets to getting admitted is hitting high above the speculated cut off marks, getting a very high score puts you on a safe and sure spot for admission.
One of the easiest thing ever is to get admission into a University of your choice, discard the thoughts of bribery of exam malpractice,go through the door with had work and faith, and what you will be counting is your Matriculation day.
